HOW DO WE BOOK THE MIGHTY PIMPS? - Q & A
Q - How long do the band play for?
A - The MP play for up to two hours, This can be in one long set or broken up into 2 or 3 sets.
Q - How far will the band travel?
A - The MP mainly cover the area of Andalucia in Southern Spain. To travel
further a field they would require on top of the fee, full expenses i.e. Hotel Accomodation, Petrol, Food etc.
Q - Do the band have incidental music?
A - We do not carry a CD or MP3 player. however we do have background music and also facilities for others to plug an alternative music player into. We can recomend or suggest established DJ,s
Q - How long do the band take to set up?
A - Normally depending on the entrance access, it take the band 45 minutes to set up. We normally arrive, unless prior agreement 1 hour 15 minutes prior to performance.
Q - What size PA system do the band have?
A - Our PA is a Mackie system, power 350 watts, which is suitable for most venues. However if
a larger System we can supply larger systems. The cost of these packages would be added to the band fee and paid for by the booking client. Please email for a quote.

Do the band have lights?
A - We do carry a few LED Par cans. However if more lighting is require we can supply as above.

Q - What size performance area /stage do the band require?
A - We can fit in a relitivly small space, big enough for a drum kit and 2 guitar amps. But preferably we need 7 metres x 4 metres.

What Electrical power do the band use?
A - Our system is not over powered and we need one 9 amp electrical socket, and our power is approx 2000 watts.
Q - Do we have to choose the play list for our event from the Bands repertoire?
A - Normally the sets are worked out for each type of event/venue, as form years of experience we know what songs work. however if there is a certain song you wish from our list, please mention when booking the band. We do not learn songs at request. (If it is a standard we will try and accomodate)
Q - How much do the MIGHTY PIMPS Charge?
A - Please email for a quote, as our fees vary to what is required and the type of venue and event and destination.
Q - How do we confirm a booking?
A - Very simple, email to check whether we are available on the date of your event. All our confirmed dates are on the gig page. We will supply a contract to be signed and returned, we also would require a non returnable deposit, which can be paid direct, or via a bank transfer.
Q - Do the band have publicity poster and help in promotions?
A - We can supply publicity poster, biographies and publicity photographs. We also promote public gigs, via our website, and Facebook - Twitter - My Space - Emails and Text messages. This does not apply to Private functions.
