Since the band was formed in 2005 by guitarist singer Chas Burnett, The MIGHTY PIMPS have gone from strength to strength and developed into one of the hardest working live bands on the Costa del Sol. Their high standard of musicianship and professionalism has helped make them popular with top agencies, private bookers and venues, who keep re-booking them time and time again. Their different styles of music and genres, means they can adapt to all kinds of situations & events where a live band is required, whether it is a small venue or the big concert stage. They will provide a performance and repertoire of music to appeal to a wide audience of ages and nationality. Musically whatever the genre required Blues, Rock, Soul, Disco etc... this trio will produce a big tight sound and professional performance.

Ideal for Clubs, Private Parties, Weddings, Conferences, Concerts etc. Individually all the musicians have a wealth of experience behind them. Bass Guitarist & Vocalist John Maddocks has worked with such bands as Sade, Captain Sensible, The Smiths. When John moved to Spain he joined the Costa del Sols longest established band THE MIX who supported Joe Cocker, Dr Feelgood. Drummer Paul Skelton has worked with Jay Aston (Bucks Fizz), Atlanta Soul Machine, 13 and Tear. Playing major festivals such as Glastonbury, V98 and Reading, in 2002 – 2004 a tour of the U.S.A. and Canada with legendary Mike Smith from The “Dave Clarke Five”. Front man Chas Burnett has appeared at major venues in the U. K. and around the world, plus supporting many name artistes on tours. Since moving to Spain in 1989, he has appeared in his own TV series, and had his own daily radio show.

Over the past four years, the line-up of musicians has changed, but the standard has always remained very high.
